Here is a list of questions we often get asked:

Q: If I buy xAmbience Legacy, will I receive a free upgrade to the upcoming pro version?

A: Yes you will receive a free upgrade to the pro version. However, we do not recommend buying xAmbience legacy for new customers who want get just only because of Pro, since you will be able to purchase xAmbience Pro on the release day for the same price without having any issues.

Q: Will there be 3D clouds in the initial version (V1.00) of xAmbience Pro?

A: No, we will provide more information regarding our further plans later.

Q: Can I join the Quality Assurance team (beta tester)?

A: We currently are not looking for more testers, we will post an announcement when we do.

Q: Where can I get more info?

A: Please join our Discord server for more information, the channels you would need to check are announcements or ask your question in general.

Q: If i change lighting slider in Weather Controls i dont see any changes!

A: If you don't see a changes please open IOS or main menu of the simulator and change the time a bit. You will see the changes as soon as lighting changes.

Q: My visibility slider is not working. When i am trying to set 0 km the slider don't allow me to do that. A: Please make a first cloud layer density more than 50% and base of the layer - below the 1000 feet.

Q: I cannot change weather via X-Plane default weather controls. What to do? A: Please edit weather only in xAmbience Pro. We override all weather changes what has been done over the our plugin.

Q: I see the rendering distortions (alpha channel issues with sun, alpha channel issues with sky rendering and etc). A: Check your FOV. Your FOV must be lower than 95. The sky, sun and clouds rendering is computed for usage with FOV setting lower then 95. In the updates we will add a abilities to use it with more bigger FOV but for now - set the FOV lower than 95.

Q: I did not find my airport when tried to search via weather search taskbar. A: Please contact support: hst.aero/support.

Q: Getting this error during product installation. What to do? A: Contact support with log.txt provided. If you having a VPN, then delete plugin, install it by new and try to launch installation again. If error happens - please send log.txt with FULL info for support.
